St. Louis Art Museum (Fiery Pool)
Situation
The Saint Louis Art Museum is among St. Louis' most beloved and
popular institutions. Enjoying philanthropic support from a wide
range of corporate and individual patrons, the Museum continues to
"educate, inspire, and elevate the human spirit; and preserve a
legacy of artistic achievement for the people of St. Louis and the
world."
To support this mission, an ongoing effort to reach out to the
wider community includes an aggressive direct marketing
campaign.
Goal
Increase participation in annual giving support for the
Museum.
Strategy
Create a segmented acquisition package to be tested among select
audiences. Design a high impact 6X9 direct mail package to promote
membership through the current exhibition of the art and culture of
the Mayan civilization. Offer exclusive membership access to the
exhibition along with a VIP tour. Utilize added future
opportunities, benefits and privileges to enhance the ask.
Above all, reflect the prestigious brand of the Saint Louis Art
Museum and the unforgettably dramatic beauty of the art.
